About Me
I'm a data analyst and software developer residing at the intersection of capital markets and technology. I'm interested in opportunities that can leverage my experience in both investment/data research and software development.
After obtaining degrees in both Computer Science and Business Administration, I worked at DRW, where I helped develop and refine event-driven equities trading strategies. I sharpened my knack for identifying material stock price catalysts through developing systematic strategies for monitoring news events.
Overtime, I got increasingly more interested in the start-up world. This led me to join YipitData, an emerging alternative data research provider to hedge funds and investment firms. During my tenure, I used Python
and SQL
and distilled complex transaction and web-scraped data into actionable insights for some of the sharpest investors in the world. Some of my research was also featured on the WSJ.
After leaving YipitData, I'm currently on sabbatical and so far I have traveled to 6 countries in the past year. I'm also working on building BlueBird Genesis, an algorithmic trading firm focused on crypto-assets. Delving deep into the realms of Rust
and Solana, I'm having a blast writing performant code needed to sustain latency-sensitive trading systems.
We are currently living through the most significant transformation of the capital markets in generations, driven by the advancement of blockchain and AI technologies. I'm committed to making a meaningful impact during this exciting time in history.
